Hello guys
I am working in a turbine & generator mfrg company in India as
Asst. Manager (since Jan 2013)
& Executive & Sr. Executive Engr. (Jul 2008 till Dec 2012) in the same company.

In : Manufacturing Engg Dept (Fab & Welding Technology)

By qualification I am a B.E. (Production) passed out in 2008.

Anybody aware of engineering disciplines & work profiles, can please help me whether I should apply in 0911 or 2132..? I am pretty much interested for 0911 but my work exp as asst manager is 1.5yrs. Is that enough? Also it's Asst. Manager & not exactly Manager. Does that matter? Another side, for 2132 my roles are exactly not coinciding with those described. But in 2132 in "classified elsewhere" it's written that mech engineers can work as industrial & mfrg engrs (which is my exact profile). Also it's written that "some mobility is possible between mech engrs & mfrg engrs".

Taking into account all of this stuff, which noc should be through for me : 0911 or 2132??

I am only stuck up at deciding this. Kindly help with your experience.

I have a degree in Industrial & Mfg engineering but my 4 years work experience is mainly of mechanical designing as well manufacturing, this makes 2132 my NOC as per my JDs. I think you should clearly understand your JDs and then decide which NOC suits you. If you are involved in manufacturing management like production control, quality assurance, inventory planning etc then you should choose 0911. For 2132 you must be doing 70 % of your JDs related to mechanical engineering like designing, maintenance etc.
