I had a question about the number of hours worked at a job.

1) If I have worked for 2 years and 3 months at one job and an equivalent of 11 months at another job, which adds up to a little over (1560 x 3) hours, can I still claim 3 years of work experience on the Express Entry Application?

2) Overtime is not counted, right? Regardless of whether you work 30 hours or 50 hours a week, it is still counted as 30 right?

Thanks in advance for your responses!

1. Yes.
2. No, you can't claim more than your regular hours.
My regular hours were atleast 40 hours a week. Will it be counted as 40 hours/week or be counted as 30 regardless? I'm not claiming more than I worked.

I am just confused because of the definition of full time on the website.

All you need is 1 year full time according to their criteria which is 30 hours a week. You can put 40 hours, that's no issue because these were your actual work ours, but they will cap it at 30 hours when calculating your work experience.

You jut need to meet the 30 hour/week benchmark for your experience to be counted as full time, that's all.

Oh ok, that's good to know.

But if I mention I have 3 years work experience on my Express Entry application, I will need to show that, right?
