PLEASE HELP.

I am confused as to what NOC Code does my current position as a RESEARCH ANALYST - KPI (Key Performance Indicator) belongs to.

My key role is to collect and interpret financial and non financial data of the company's financial reports & statements, including press releases, as per defined quality and process guidelines under BANKS Industry. Primarily, I focus on the collection and interpretation of all Key Performance Indicator of a Bank.

I am trying to analyze if my NOC is 1112 or 1254.

1112 – Financial and investment analysts

This group performs some or all of the following duties:
Financial analysts

  • Evaluate financial risks, prepare financial forecasts, financing scenarios and other documents concerning capital management, and write reports and recommendations

This group performs some or all of the following duties:

  • Compile tables, charts, graphs and summarized statistics for integration in research papers and reports
  • Process data using statistical software to conduct basic analyses of trends in support of research activities
  • Collect, consolidate, cross-tabulate and format data from various sources to prepare draft reports for review by supervisors or researchers
  • Assist in collection and tracking of data from monitored use of services and provide information to management and client groups
  • May prepare technical documents and monitoring reports on volumetrics and other trend analyses
  • May supervise statistical and research support workers.

You will never file anything that matches 100%. The idea and what IRCC checks is that your JDs listed in your work reference should substantially match the JDs of the NOC selected.

Based on that you should do your search. Here substantially means 75% or more. They do not have to match word by word.
