NOC code help

I have 4 years of marketing experience. ( IT industry )
My designation is Senior Marketing executive, soon to be promoted to Associate Manager.

I selected my NOC code as 0124, but someone told me that it’s for people who have more than 8-10 years of experience and basically who are at a designation of senior manager or director level. Kindly help.

You should choose 0124 only if you are a Manager.
