Hi I am having trouble determining my NOC code for one of my jobs. I believe it is Administrative Assistant, NOC code 1221 which is a skill level B job but I am a bit concerned that some of the duties might overlap into Office Clerk which is a skill level C job. I worked as a submission officer at a big multi- national visa agency that accepts and processes applications for various embassies and consulates. My job description is as follows:
Document collection and scrutiny for visa processing
Handling customer/applicant queries in person, via email or on the phone
Ensuring all administration and logistics concerning passport delivery to the consulate/applicant/ Logistics Company
Maintaining and recording application data
Handling of cash and bank related transactions if assigned
To spot incomplete and or incorrect information from the submission office to ensure accuracy of the visa application.
Also my second job was in the legal services field as a legal assistant for a large toronto based corporate law firm. The employment letter was signed by my office manager who does all our HR stuff.... is that OK?
Can anyone please help or advise?
