well... at first glance it looks like a decent fit (although I noticed the copied items, which are a tad suspicious), and I really haven't identified a better NOC yet, based on the info you provided.

It would help to include a little more detail about what the "product" is that you're selling, and to what types of clients. My concern about the lack of detail there is that CIC could evaluate this role as NOC 6411, since that includes "sales representatives - computer services" - http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2011/ProfileQuickSearch.aspx?val=6&val1=6411&val65=6221 .

As well, there are a few duties on your list that suggest a non-sales role (like more of an admin assistant type of job) - taking meeting minutes, database maintenance ...

Thanks for the reply, for CIC I've done a headed document including detail on what the company does. Basically we sell business to business data management, business intelligence and data warehousing services, so I thought that technical would be the right classification as computer services suggests smaller less enterprise oriented services.

we're not a huge company and only 6 of us in the sales office, we don't do all of the duties such as troubleshooting problems afterwards because we have consultants who do that - it's their services that we sell. I do indeed do some administrative duties, but I wouldn't call myself an administrative assistant - unfortunately I'm really somewhere in the middle :S

That helps a lot and should be included in the letter. But I still find it a little ... obtuse - in plain language, do you work for a consulting firm and you sell/market consulting services? If so, remember the letter will be read by someone outside of your specialty, so make the information "accessible" to a general audience.

With this info, I'd say yes, technical sales... and put the administrative-type duties at the bottom of the list...
