Hi All, I am basically a software Engineer with 4+ Yrs of experience. I am not sure if I can use NOC code 2137 since I do not see that on NOC code list available @ http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp

Could anyone please let me know if I can use this NOC or not?

theres two requirement for immigration under FSW1. points and ministerial instruction.

2173 works for points but not for ministerial instruction.

but if you have worked as 2173 for 4+ years, do you think part of your experience could be 0213.

Thanks rupeshhari. Part of my work experience is matching with few duties specified under 0213. However, my designation is Team Lead and not the Manager. So not sure if I should be using 0213 or not.

Because if CIC asks for employement Verification letter, my employer may provide that with the designation which will not say 'Manager'.

"2173 works for points but not for ministerial instruction."
Sorry but I am not aware of What is ministerial instruction? Do you have any reference for this that I can use to understand this better?

i believe so about the title. But its not any of those duties but substantial number of the duties i think.
Remember, managing people is the most important thing.

Maybe other people on here can suggest how to look at it.
