I am applying for NOC code 0015- senior manager trade broadcasting and other services. can someone advise if i meet the criteria?
1. managing partner in an agro-trading and government supply firm- small/medium family owned business
2. director in entrepreneurial outsourcing/KPO venture (now not operational, also family owned)
if anyone can make alternative suggestions, it would be appreciated. it would be pertinent to mention that since it's a small company, the org structure is relatively flat. not too many layers. it's me, below me some executives to handle day to day affairs and carry out instructions, then labour (which is contractual most of the time).
i want to remove all possibility of failing on this issue. any help is highly appreciated.
EDIT: i'm emailing workingincanada.gc.ca as suggested in another post. Still, any experiences will help
1. managing partner in an agro-trading and government supply firm- small/medium family owned business
- manage all aspects of filling/bidding on tenders, price determinations, negotiations with government agencies- sometimes DG-ITBP level executives
- all financial aspects of the firm such as dealing with banks for credit lines, accounting (ca, etc.), determining/approving budgets, investments/assets procurement
- hiring, personnel duties (i'm not an HR specialist but being a small business i decide what kind of people i want to hire and giving them duties.
- strategic management/decision making- deciding what kind of products/business channels we want to deal in, which tenders to bid on, made a huge change a few years ago about closing down retail channel and focusing on government supply only. 'relationship management' with government executives, also called liaison in India
2. director in entrepreneurial outsourcing/KPO venture (now not operational, also family owned)
- marketing/sales/business development
- hiring, HR duties, creating teams for various projects
- fully responsible for QA, workflow creation/execution, etc.
- strategic- skill development, channel/division related decisions- for instance should we offer digital marketing service or not, do we internalize marketing or some tasks or hire third party, etc.
- purchase of equipment, general budgeting, etc.
