noc category confusion

can any one tell me if gas station manager falls under noc required for cec..thanx

Yes it does fall under an eligible noc for the Canadian experience class. It would most likely fall under retail manager/service station manager noc code 0621. Check this link out for more info http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=0621.

That's correct "0" is missing though. Any time you see a zero before three numbers, in this case 0621 it's for a managerial position which is a skilled position as well. Another good way to determine if your noc is eligible in the case of non managerial experiences is taking a look at the second number. The second number in the noc code must not be more that a 3 for the position to be eligible. for example noc code 2282 vs 7431. However having said all these, it's the job duties that really matter not the job title.

Yes you have to show one year work experience at the managerial level to qualify.
