NOC - B, 2283 systems testing technicians --- IELTS requirements for PR

Hi ,

I am planning to apply for PR and scored 6.5 in IELTS. NOC code for me is 2283. Though CIC website says 5 is enough for this job level, I heard people saying that, all those who came here with Intra Company Transfer Category by default goes under NOC level A and has to score IETLS 6 for sections.

below is my IETLS scores. Is that correct and Do I need appear for the English exam again ?

Listening - 7.5
Reading 6.5
Writing 5.5
Speaking 7.0

If your NOC code is 2283, then you are NOC B, and your IELTS scores are fine. Just be sure that what you are doing at your job matches the duties for 2283. If not, then look up another NOC that does match and check if it falls in NOC 0 or A.

Everything depends on your Job description.. if it comes under NOC B then your IELTS is very good enough to apply

can anyone help me with NOC 2283. what is the minimum YTD income for this code and is there any criteria about minimum wage/ pay rate for this NOC?

yes, it is , first , find your location , then calculate your hour salary . e.g

assume the lowest in your area is 25/hour then , 25 * 8 * 5 * 52 is annual salary. you need

if somehow my YTD income is not equivalent to the required YTD( which is not mentioned anywhere in CIC), but my job falls under NOC 2283 and have completed CELPIP as listening-11, reading, writing 9 and speaking 8, am i eligible for PR?

apply it firstly. that is all.

and if possible, explain why your salary is low in cover letter.

thet won't reject case just because low salary,

but they can question your work experience reality because of low salary .

and maybe your boss will be suspicious in abusing TFW.

anyway, you have change to pass. but some risk to fail too. that is normal for all the cases. just be more carefull since your low salary.
