I recently sent my application form to CIC and recieved my AOR as well .. When i filled my form i have given my NOC 2174 and job title as "Software Engineer" which is not a valid job title for the given NOC. But my Roles and responsiblities are matching the NOC 2174 .. Will this mismach of job title to the NOC be a problem ?... Please clarify my doubt... Do i need to correct my form and resend it.... :(

NOCs provide a list of possible job titles, the list is not exhaustive or exclusive.

When you select an NOC, we are instructed to go by job duties and responsibilities, not job title, so if 2174 fits, use it. Since your job title is in a related skilled NOC, it is unlikely to be an issue.

I have a same problem with you. I submitted a re-entry visa application using a job title which is not exist in noc. I'm really worried.
