Position: Inbound Sales Development Representative
Reports To: Sales Director
Job Description:
To continue fueling our growth, we are looking for a hardworking, customer-focused, high-energy Sales Development Representative to join us at Trulioo. This is a full-time position at our Coal Harbour, Vancouver HQ. As an integral part of our Sales Team, you will be responsible for managing all incoming sales leads from the company’s various marketing and lead generation methods. Specifically, your day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:
- Qualify incoming leads in your pipeline through email correspondence and introductory phone calls.
- Schedule and execute introductory calls/product demonstrations for qualified leads.
- Identify client needs and accurately transcribe client details into Salesforce CRM.
- Transition qualified leads from your pipeline to an Account Executive’s pipeline to further the buying process.
- Nurture cold and existing leads within your pipeline back into the buying cycle.
- Work closely with Sales Development Team Lead and Marketing Team to ensure success at conferences and tradeshows, including pre-conference outreach for meetings and post-conference follow-up.
We are looking for someone who has:
- 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing role (phone, in-person, support), preferably within a technology start-up environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate technical product specifications.
- Enthusiasm for supporting lead generation is looking for rapid growth from within and is diligent, motivated, reliable, and a team player.
- The ability to work independently and take responsibility for work.
Bonus points if you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- B2B sales or sales development experience.
- Expertise working with Salesforce and other CRM/sales outreach platforms.
