Hello All,
I am looking to apply under technical sales specialist category NOC 6221. I would like to have some insights to better my resume and put some relevant job responsibilities. Please let me know If anyone has applied / is applying under this category please.

Also people who have successfully migrated with IT job roles , I would be keen to know if pre sales profile with NOC 6221 is most suitable or not?

I am applying under this NOC Code 6221 as my work exp is in IT Sales.
You need to mention your job responsibilities which match up with those of 6221 in your resume.
You can search for other NOC codes as well if they match up more closely with Pres Sales Roles and responsibilities. In that case, your NOC code will change.

Hello,

Need your help.

I have pre-sales experience in Telecom/ IT and have held titles such as Solution Engineer, Solution Specialist, Sr. Solutions Analyst, Solutions Architect, SME etc. I have worked mostly in Sales Support (assisting Sales team with Technical Products/Services/Solutions in accordance with Client's requirements) but I have never worked as Sales guy.

I could only find NOC 6221 matching most to my experience. Just wanted to double check, if there isnt any other NOC aligning with Pre-sales.

Kindly suggest.

Regards

You need to find a NOC code whose job duties match up your job duties around 60 to 70%
You must spend some few hours in finding it.

Hello Gurdeep,

Did you get your answer? I was also in exact same profile. Can you tell me which did you use or using?

6221 is for technical sales. If you are not in technical sales then you may be rejected, try searching some other NOC.

Hi, I tried but it is the only NOC that is closed to what I am doing. The only difference is I have a degree in international business, not in a technical field.
