NOC 4413 - Elementary and secondary school teacher assistants

I have been working as teacher assistant for past 4 years. I have done my masters in computer science.

I have noticed that NOC for teacher assistant comes under the category C, even though we have points above 400, this is a concern for us. However some of my duties comes under NOC "4032 Elementary school and kindergarten teachers", I don't have a degree in teaching.

Could anyone please tell us how can i choose a better NOC which comes under category A.

Hi,

Selecting an NOC is not about the job title, its more to do with the duties you have performed. So if the majority of your duties are in line with NOC 4032, you can selct it as your primary NOC.

Do not worry about having a degree in teaching or not. There is no obligation for you to meet the employment requirements of the NOC.

The Employment requirements (Degree in education, etc)mentioned under every NOC is for Government or is it for the employers once we reach Canada?

It is for employers once you reach canada.

I have degree in Bachelor of education is I m eligible under noc 4413 as m having 5 year of experience in teaching
