NOC:4214 Early Childhood Educator and assistant

Hi there,
I'm new to the forum....need lots to learn. I would like to apply for NOC 4214. I worked as an early childhood educator from 2004 (part time) beside my bachelor ( in child development) degree. I completed my degree in 2007 and started working full time on the same position from Jan 2008 to Jan 2009. In 2009 I came to Australia and had a 2yr diploma in hospitality. Worked part time as a shop assistant from April 2009 to August 2010. From September 2010 worked as a part time cook in different places. was off from work from Jan to November 2012 for maternity purpose. From December 2012 till present working as a retail shop assistant. Also how to claim points for age, language etc.
Questions.....
1. Can I claim points for the work experience that I've done before the completion of my degree?
2. Since 2009 I didn't work any occupation related to 4214 - will it affect the application?
3. Do I have to mention all the job experience I've done so far?
4. with work experience do I have to provide tax return or just payslip will do the job?
5. For WES evaluation how to send docs as my 2 degrees are from 2 countries?
6. Also how to claim points for age, language etc.

Anyone please guide me. Thanks in advance

I think you can. But I am not very sure of this.
2. Since 2009 I didn't work any occupation related to 4214 - will it affect the application?
No problem. You only have to have a 1 year of full-time experience in your primary NOC during the past 10 years. And you can also claim points for other occupations you had as long as they fall under NOC Skill A, B, or 0
3. Do I have to mention all the job experience I've done so far?
Yes, you'll need them to claim points, or at least you will need to mention them in your personal history record.
4. with work experience do I have to provide tax return or just payslip will do the job?
The most important document is a reference letter from your employer or your manager with your job duties and your salary...etc. Nothing counts if this document is not submitted. And self-attested reference letters do not count too.
5. For WES evaluation how to send docs as my 2 degrees are from 2 countries?
Just send them Check the documents that WES requires as they may vary for each of the two countries
6. Also how to claim points for age, language etc.
Age is proved through birth certificates and passport copies. Language needs an English test, primarily IELTS

Thanks Romar for the quick response. You said I can claim points for my other jobs as long as those falls under NOC and skill level A,B, or O. My occupation Cook NOC 6322 falls under Skill level B. It is on the FSTP list but already capped. Can I still claim point for that? In my previous message I've asked about claiming points. I can clearly understand claiming for age and language points but how i'm gonna claim points for work experience? Do I have to illustrate ? If I have to where I can mention that? sorry I didn't go through the form yet so I really don't know whats's in it. If I miss to claim points (for an instance for my other job) will the CO count it?

have another question: can I get 2 police clearance at the same time? I'm applying for Australia and Canada at the same time and both requires police clearance. I know Au immi accepts scanned copy but i need to have the original in hand in case they want it.

Today I got an email from VO, stating that I am not eligible for PR as my employment (4214) and my education doesn’t match. Right now am working with call center, but before joining call center I was working as nursery teacher in India.
Also, they mentioned that there is no evidence of form 16 or income tax return & salary transferred to bank for 4214.
Lots of small nursery schools in India Pay by cash or Cheque, and that time I never bothered about income tax because salary was very low & that was the reason I moved to call center for higher package.

Though they have written in their email that they’re giving me last opportunity of 30 days to explain & provide supporting documents.

Can anyone in this forum help me……feeling very low, depressed, demotivated……feeling like crying….

If the problem is your being assessed as not qualifying under the NOC you are applying for, try providing reference letters from the school showing your work experience, letters of reference from co-workers, letters from parents of students you taught, pictures if necessary, letters of commendation from school management, and other documents to prove that you had actually done the work you claimed to do. Your job description should match majority of the words used in the NOC.
