Dear Members,
Rejections due to JD mismatch can be due to any of the following simple reasons:
1.
Being an Instructor, a person can be a lecturer, project supervisor or program leader as well. The rule is simple, Write what you are doing and what you are writing as your JD must corresponds to your Job Title. For example, If i am an instructor, then JD might include any thing related to lecture preparation, Lecture delivery, Assessment, Mentoring and course outline designing etc.
But if you mentioned out their yourself as a program leader, then JDs must include functions related to management of programs you are leading. For example, being a computer program head, a person have to deals with course scheduling, interveiwing Lecturers, assessing lectures performance, correspondence with counterparts in other countries, course offereing per semester, etc
2.
They are clearing the backlog.
My suggestion, observation and experience is that write every thing you are doing against you job role and also go for some standards related to the your job title. Fortunately i was associated with an institution having international standards enforced, so i got a chance to write what i was actually doing anf it helps a lot.
May be this will be helpful.
This is my personal observations and experience.
Your comments are welcome.
