The application is likely returning to applicants as NOC 4011 has already been capped in late Oct. It may take months to return your application due to CIC using probably the cheapest method to send an application back.

Till 16-Dec 2014 there were lot of space to fill 1000
Some people on this forum saying that its cic web update was Oct, How it is possible.
If the update was october month then atleast they should mention that it is till oct update.

The quota reported on 16 Dec was only for applicants with their application checked for completeness. CIC could have another 1000 or more NOC 4011 applications not yet checked for completeness, but just sitting there in their office.

When they update the website on 19-Dec their were another column in which they have mentioned the pending or pipeline applications. Including those still there were space to reach 1000. Second my application was received on 01-12-15

Masters degree is a requirement for employment, but NOT for FSW selection, I am also a 4011 applicant without masters degree and I just got third line (medicals received), some other fellow 4011 applicants also without masters already landed. SO for selection purposes it is not a problem, The REAL deal is we need to be aware that to be a University Professor in Canada you need a PhD, and even with the PhD it is a VERY competitive field. To summarise don't worry about the selection, start planning for a plan B as it is not likely you will find a University Teaching Position without PhD and relevant research and Publications.

there is no such thing as highest. File are treated based on first come basis in CIC, and VO treat based on per received date

They start processing the applications as they arrive but every case is unique, the kind and/or amount of documents, the background of the applicant, the country of origin, even the speed of the official processing your file. All this factors make that every application takes a different time.
