Happy to see that 4011 are gathering here. I am Oct applicant and received my PER on Jan. Now waiting for MR.

Can anyone tell me what are the chances to get academic position in Canada. I think it is much easier to get postdoc/lecturer jobs in Australia than Canada. What do you think? Is it good idea to apply for Australian PR in parallel with Canadian PR ??

Call to them at 888-242-2100 then 1-1-3-1-(UCI)-1-DOB-1, if u don't have UCI number; wait for 3 times of asking UCI/file number. It will go for next step then. But it's not easy to get them You have to do it several time unless you are lucky enough!!

The academic job is very much difficult to find. You may get a Post Doc position but without Canadian PhD there is a very little chance. Off course you may get, but think negative at the beginning

I am an 15th december applicant. So, should I lose hope now for my application to be considered reading the previous 2-3 pages comments? my heart is not believing noc 4011 was fully capped in nov or by the 3rd week of dec either. cic site was saying something else in december 2014. How the cap can be filled in november?? not able to figure this out. reading comments has created panic n confusion in our minds.
