NOC 4011

my application filed on dec 5th
and i dont think it is capped
at least for files before the last update. since in the last update, capped NOCs were showing pending applications even long after the actual date of being capped...
what's your point on this?

At this point, I'm not really worried about NOC 4011 reaching the cap. Since late October, all the other categories have had intake, but not NOC 4011. So, if even a half of the other categories reach the 500 intake mark (which is very likely) the overall cap of 25000 applicants will be reached. In that case, game over. BTW, I really hope I'm wrong.

I think you are wrong. Last update from CIC was stating that they processed total around 16000 applications as of december 16. Lets consider that completness check was done a month before e.g. for applications received up to mid November. It is highly unlikely that they will receive another 9000 complete applications from mid Nov.-31 Dec., isn't it?
If I am wrong why doesn't anyone received application back stating the cap reached?
The mystery is Vinisha's case for me. And I have got question for her. Did you write NOC category or PhD stream or Arranged job offer on your envelope's label? Or simply NOC category.

Also, I think not all pending applications will receive positive outcome after MI. If I am wrong why doesn't anyone received application back stating the cap reached?

CIC is sure working in a mysterious way on this NOC. Hope all of us get through. The fact that nobody has reported return of application and cc still being charged are keeping the hopes alive. Let's hope for the best!!

why don't you try to call the CIC to ask about your application? if you get any info please share it with us

I completely agree with you. I suggested the same in one of posts. Why don't you guys contact CIC and ask about status of your application? The same matters to early November applicants.

I read on other posts that you may have to try several times before you get lucky n get ur UCI from them on the phone..I wish y will hear good news soon
