hi, i did my phd from canada but applied under fsw 2014, i feel that the cic has taken my file as a case of phd stream, still confused why my file is getting processed much ahead of others under noc 4011, by gods grace everything should be ok.

Congratulations Vinisha!
I am very happy that we have at least some news on NOC 4011, as it has been complete silence for a while now.
I'm having difficulty predicting anything on NOC 4011, however. As Vinisha has been charged, we can now rule out that the cap has been reached. Moreover, I don't know anyone who has had their application returned due to the cap. I just don't understand the silence from NOC.
Someone from the previous posts mentioned that they are cherry picking. That could very well be the case, as CIC can change their selection rules anytime they want, and it would be legal to do so (unfair, or perhaps unjust, but legal nevertheless). If they are cherry picking, obviously Canadian educated at the PhD level would be selected first. So my question is, is there anyone out there with Canadian PhD credentials who has not been charged? What about any Master's holders from a Canadian university? If you are out there could you please speak up? I believe it would put many minds at ease.
Thanks everyone.

i too think the same way, there is a logic in this.i am also heading a department in my university, i feel ''as per guidelines of cic - they select based on many criteria and one thing is adaptability and one who can easily get a job after getting PR''

Well Vinisha!

First of all Congrats for getting charged and thanks that you have given us hope that caps is not reached for 4011.

it was long wait for 4011 charge and i am happy that it came at last.

Although your case is beyond the understanding but still it is very good news for us waiting for 4011.

cherry picking thing i did not find it reasonable.

lets say if capped is reached at mid oct den many of the apps of oct n nov might be on the way for return and i think in case of cape reached they dont do even completeness check and return it straight away.

The only thing might be possible even if cap is reached some one might got NER and dey gave the chance of your app for some xyz reasion..

or Your app is the first drop of RAIN of noc charging 4011. hope this would be the case any many would charge after you.

Congrats again and stay Blessed.

She/ He has been considered for a Ph.D. Stream category which is a separate path as he/ she has done a Ph.D. in Canada.

What ever category has vinisha applied, she will be charged under that category... Congratulations Vinisha.

If Vinisha has been charged under the PhD stream, then it is even more confusing. Then we don't know the status of NOC 4011.
