Physiotherapists assess patients and plan and carry out individually designed treatment programs to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients. Hi hotheart,

If you want to prepare for NPTE from here at this moment not strictly needed, you can start after your medicals or after 2nd AOR. Preparation is needed before taking the exam.. Coz as of now your are waiting for your AOR. I advise you to startup with Sullivan Rehab book and basic PT books [most part of the exam covered by basics to be frank]. The imp' book is 'BLUE BOOK'.

If you work as Physio assistant for a minimum period of 6months you don't have to do the mandatory course... context of physiotherapy practice in Canada. Again these depends on the reference from your employer. If all part of your Physio education is not in English you must do IELTS.. have u started ur credentials....

I am a London VO applicant and my application is "in process". Hope this helps.

One more thing, I don't know if you have started your credentialing with the Alliance. If you haven't and you intend to practice PT in Canada, I'll advice you start ASAP as the process is now taking a long time (over 1 year in most cases). It might be the difference between getting stuck in a survival job and getting a PT job ASAP when you get to Canada.

Yes, dear friend...I understand the importance of credentialing and having a PT license to practice..but I am just waiting for my medicals to arrive..so that I will begin the credentialing after that...
I am not worried as regards time taken by alliance for credentialing because I passed out from a top notch university in India and I hope that alliance would be ahaving my syllabus and earlier applicants' transcript etc who were pass out s from my institution...so it could save me some time...
By the way, has the London Visa Office contacted u or ur employer for any kind of background check or employment verification?? Pls stay in touch..

No interview for medical professionals quite itsvery rare & strange unless the VO assumes the documents r fake or bla,bla interview is ordered otherwise its not im sure about t moreover i know very well that i will never receive interview bcas documents r 100% 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) geniune i never mind whether they verify or not ok! thank u wish u too ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,god will help us trust him
