what other pathways I can look for

Sorry Bro .
The meat & potatoes orthopaedics is saturated .Its difficult for Canadian grads to get jobs too.
One option is you can try pediatric orthopaedics with spine. There are lots of jobs in that specialty and waitlist for scoliosis surgeries are 6mth to 1 yr here

my dear as our friend BabaKasmani said, working as doctor there is not easy, you will face difficulties to find job there, that's why we suggest other ways to work at least in health domain,it requires time also,so u should be patient ,and as i said before,i suggest to everyone here to prepare him/herself from now,as we discussed before with BabaKasmani,it takes many times my dear,
according MCCEE,of course u can apply for exam and pass it before going there ,check this link please,u see list of countries where there r centers, dates, fees for exam, everything, hope it helps u.
http://mcc.ca/examinations/mccee/list-of-countries-for-prometric-centres/

finally,i am shocked that you don't know about these procedures before applyin as FSW,guys you should know everything about Canada,jobs,life... before going,it is program of immigration ,not tourist visa or take vacation especially if u have family.
good luck

You can't see the cap update. It is closed as EE has started.

Any October applicants who got dd enchasments ???

CIC really taking our NOC very slow. I think I saw someone with application date 1st October saying that his DD was charged on 7th Jan. Thats almost 100 days.

i have a few questions about initial processing of documents in CIC.

1. do they have a favourism about NOCs? i see many NOCs going to MR quickly and some of the like mine 3112 not moving at all. is it so? or the NOCs that are capped out is being sorted out first and more percentage of case officers dealing with them?

2. Avg PER date till app is almost 120 days. if 120 days passed and there is no news what should one do?

3. are there specific case officers for specific NOC or its a random order?
