why IELTS ?

IELTS (Academic) ‘7’ for licensure (not required for all IMG’s). Please check the eligibility requirements of the medical regulatory authority in which you wish to practice. It varies from one province to another.

Can someone help me with my queries? I am a General Physician applying for PR

I was told to get my educational credentials verified through WES - WORLD EDUCATION SERVICES

But on this thread I see that people are applying through Physicianapply.ca and Medical council of Canada.

is it like an option that you can get your educational credentials verified on any one of these or its mandatory for general physicians to get it verified by MCC and Physicianapply.ca

I am just starting with the process, can someone answer my queries regarding this. Please help. Thanks!

If you have a medical degree or MBBS then it has to be verified through MCC. Simple, if you are applying through NOC 3112 then it has to be from MCC.

Ty to mention the dates on your degree. If not given then enter the nearest possible dates you remember or get the info from your medical college.

Question to Bangladeshi doctors where the inquiry goes, Medical college or University.

To the Medical College

ECA report status : Submitted

Thanks for your reply for my previous query regarding verification of education credentials through MCC.

I have another query...

I have got my educational credentials( Bachelors degree - M.B.B.S) verified by ECFMG in the Year 2011 for USMLE exam. Can this certification be used now?

If so, how can this certification be forwarded to Medical council of Canada??

will be of great help if someone can explain me the procedure. Thanks!

Where is this status mentioned? Under 'other service requests'?

Yes.

Do you have any idea how long MCC will take to send the report? And, after sending the report, will they change the status?

You might open an account in physiciansapply.ca and follow the procedures for ECA as others. Provide your EICS number to MCC for SVR. In your case, source verification has already done by ECFMG. Therefore, ECFMG will not send your documents to your institution for source verification. However, Confirmation from the ECFMG of a previously source verified medical credential (when the candidate already has an ECFMG International Credentials Services —or EICS— number) can take up to 20 business days.
---------- All of these are my assumptions ;D

You better communicate directly to MCC either by phone or e-mail and ask help.
