Hello, I have gotten my primary medical degree ECA done from MCC. But I am applying for 3111 as a specialist physician, can anyone tell me if I also need to get ECA for my Specialty Diploma? Which organization should I get it done from as MCC is only doing ECA for primary medical degree. Has anyone gotten their specialist degrees/diplomas assessed for ECA as yet? Please advise. Thanks

Same is the case with my friend, he is also confused about this, he already has ECA done from MCC but only for his mbbs degree only, what about FCPS ? if somebody has relevant information, please share or is it ok to apply as specialist surgeon noc 3111 with this ECA (only graduation)

Same problem here. hopefully I will l get ECA for my MBBS within next 3/4 weeks. But I haven't done anything for my MS(CT surgery ) degree. Which is a five years long course under Dhaka University. Any idea how to proceed for NOC 3111.

Get a detailed experience cert. from your HOD / Supervisor. That should be sufficient.

Hi 3111 Applicants,
Same problem here, MCC only gave me ECA for primary degree after charging me all the translation and primary source verif. charges for my specialty certificate.
Does that meen we should apply as 3112 - General physicians???
Has anyone been accepted into 3111 without an ECA for specialty?

This is absolutely right that MCC only evaluates primary medical degree. With this you can claim 23 points.
However it is misconception, that you cant apply under NOC 3211 with only MBBS degree.
You are claiming points for your MBBS degree- MCC will issue report for it.
No where it is written that to apply under NOC 3211, your post graduate certificates should also be evaluated.

So my point, apply for your primary MBBS degree and with this, you can apply under NOC 3211.
To give you example, if a person is applying under medical sonographer, it is not necessary that he must have medical sonographer diploma certificate etc...He can have MBBS degree and can apply under medical Sonographer (3216) and submit experience certificate based on his experience as sonographer..
Hope it clarifies the confusion...

In Short.........it is not necessary to have degree in same occupation (NOC) under which your applying...
Go with MCC evaluation and submit post graduate experience certificates..
Best of Luck...

I another words apply as 3112 (general practioner) and submit all experience+certificates of surgery?
Because what I read about 3112 is that you have to be a family physician with its experience, and surgery is very different??!!
Correct me if i'm wrong, and please advice, 3111 or 3112??

Please read my above comments; If you are apply under NOC 3111 , then your experience certificate and designation should be of Specialist physician, And if you are applying under NOC 3112, then experience certificate, job responsibilities and designation should be of General physician
PS:- Both require only MBBS Degree evaluation from MCC.
So check your experience certificates/job responsibilties and designation before you choose correct NOC.
