Can someone confirm the stage/step (like PER/AOR/2nd line update,etc.) after which the background checks with the employer are initiated ? Guys with GCMS notes or anyone please respond. I'm asking so that I can tell my references timely to be alert and tackle with verification.

Here is the letter that I recieved along with my package (delete the spaces in the hyperlink). Basically, it's saying that the cap for NOC2281 has been reached.

There is nothing to prove, it was already prove on 21st November 2015!

the link provided by olga is accessible if you remove the spaces in it. Olga when your application reached CIC.

My application has reached the CIC on Nov 25th as per Fedex confirmation. However, there is a CIC stamp on all my documents with the date of Nov 24th. Anyway, it was too late
