NOC 2281 for FSWP in 2014, Let's network here

If cap is not full than what is the harm in charging the CC or DD for all people like us. I dont see any reason for holding applications. I really dont understand a bit here.

Someone said in the forum that one 1st Dec guy's CC was charged few days back. How is it possible while Nov last week guys are waiting to get charged!!

I had applied in June and my file was returned in Nov due to some document issue. I sent file again in Dec and it reached CIC on 3rd dec. No news till date. MY EE score is low and dont expect anything from draw.

Still fingers crossed...

If you see closely most of the charges in last week or so have been for NOC 2172.
All other NOC are a bit slow for 2172 there were only about 300+ entries out of which about 77 entries were from December as per excel
Hence it may be moving a bit fast, our NOC was already about 700+ and had more than 39 applications in December as per excel hence waiting is best as we are almost 50% of the NOC. 2172.
Out of 500 Applicants from December major are from 2172 so I would suggest just wait and watch.

What are the chances for me to get the PR if i don't have JOB Offer. I have 6 Years of experience with Graduate and will get nearby IELTS 6.5 band score. I will be applying for EE in the last week of Feb but would like to know about it.

Yes i am a 21st Nov applicant, i do not have any update on my DD being en-cashed. I will wait until Feb 23rd for my PER email (90 days of waiting). If i do not receive an email then i'm planning to call and send an email out to CIC regarding my application.

Bank says that we cannot contact the international branch again and again and I should wait till Feb end.
I do not know whether 2281 is being getting charged or not.

Can anyone shed some information on this ? If I have to know whether I had been charged or not how can I do that ?

Is there any CIC number where I can get the status of my application ? if so kindly share with me.

In 10 days you will get PER. In some cases we can not know is DD is enchashed. You are in CAP. Relax ;D

The time I saw CIC displaying the quota status for 2281, they received about :-

->493 completed applications - which means 493 received PR +ve decision
->295 pending complete applications - reviewed to be complete w.r.t. documentation & yet to receive a PER.
-> There was an asterisk & when I scrolled down to see that 1000 applications had been received in this NOC 2281.

This was around last week of Dec-2014.

One more thing I wanted to let you know that silence from CIC for anything above 2 months means you're IN. I've watched applications getting returned within one month of acknowledgement from CIC. Not sure if there are any post 2 months & getting returned.

Regd. 2281 - I am sure if your application has reached CIO within Dec 10th,2014 - you're almost IN.


If there is anybody from 2281 getting charged (CC) on Dec 1st, 2014 - then all complete applications(2281) reaching before that date are ready to go off the desks anytime. Applications with Credit cards obviously get charged earlier than DD's/ and there is nothing to worry about not getting a +ve status so far for Intl. DD's. Applications are based on First IN First OUT & not otherwise.
