NOC 2281 and NOC 2174 conflict

Hello All,

I applied for PR under CEC last year december and received AOR in Feb. I had a total exp of 2 and half years at the submission time.
The problem is, my work permits till nov 2013 bear NOC code of 2281, where as the one issued in dec 2013 bears 2174. I applied in the last week of Dec, and specified the NOC on schedule 8 as 2174. right from beginning my duties are more aligned towards 2174.

Now I am worried about the out come, if it would be a conflict ? I am about to submit additional reference letter from my employer ( my package at submission time did not have the employee reference letter in required format. I submitted a letter from my employer which only mentions my designation and working period, location, no duties. and I also submitted pay stubs, T4, noa, offer/contract letters etc ).

Now that I am submitting reference letter as additional documentation, Can you please advise how should I have the reference letter to avoid rejection ?

Also, in the HRSDC website, under 2281, there is an additional info para which states

Additional information

Progression to computer programming, interactive media development, Web development or systems analysis is possible with experience.

and this progression matches 2174. so my understanding is that those who have 2281 wp can also work under 2174 ? Please correct me if I am wrong..

Hi sjulien, Thanks a lot for responding..

I am yet to submit the reference letter, I drafted it with my roles and duties ( which mostly match NOC2174, and NOC 2174 is the NOC I used on schd 8 ).
Now I am worried as my initial work permits have 2281 as the NOC.
so am thinking if I should go ahead and submit the reference letter with these 2174 duties, or should I adjust it to include NOC 2281 too.

Please direct all your queries to below forum. The ADMIN of this forum (KSA0510) is really a helpful guy and answers almost every query. Of Course, you should should use it cautiously, you alone are responsible for your NOC application anyways ;D.
