NOC 2232, can I apply if somebody already applied for me?

Hello Immigrants,

I'm 24 yo, I live in Kuwait, I have Mechanical Power Technology/diploma (3years of study) with 3years experience.
I guess I can apply for NOC 2232, Mechanical engineering technologists and technicians.

my auntie got P.R in Canada, she said that she applied for me and my family. but I don't trust her. because every time I ask about the file number she says it's none of your business don't ruin what we are doing. "what could I do if I got the file number!! I wouldn't ever ruin something like that" I just wanna check if the application submitted or not, is there any way?

I have the name of the immigration lawyer and his licenses number. can I get his contact by searching somewhere? I tried Google but useless.

is there a problem if I applied for skilled worker and my name is already included with my family in the file that my auntie applied for us "if she really applied"??

Yes - you can submit an application under FSW.

To check the status of the application your aunt submitted you will need the file number of the application.

thank you for your reply, but I want to know if it is okay if I applied and my name is already in another file but that file could take longer time?! and i'm not sure if I'm included in that file. this skilled worker application could take 1 year only

If I have already applied as a skilled worker, can I apply under the Canadian Experience Class?

Yes, but you must submit a new application with new fees.

If Citizenship and Immigration Canada has not started processing your skilled worker application, you can withdraw it. You may get a refund.

You are allowed to apply under more than one immigration program at the same time. However, if you are accepted to more than one, you will have to choose the one under which your permanent resident status will be granted.
