i have applied for noc 2232...iam a marine engineer...can a merchant navy guy applu under NOC 2232......application reached 20 nov....waiting for cc charge....

Bro not disappointing u or nythin but my brother applied under the same category, he is 3rd engg but got refusal saying that the work exp is not continuous which is stupid as u guys are not allowed to sail for 12 moths long, is it possible I can talk to you about it, it will be helpful for you as well as i am in the process of figuring it out coz due to new rules as well 12 month continuous work exp is imp. My application was received on 10 nov. Noc -2232.
My bank confirmed me that my dd has been charged on 13 Jan.
Now waiting for PER.
Now what % of Chance to get PR ?
Can anyone guide me that what is the standard waiting time for per after dd charged ?
What does it means if CIC charged dd?

Hi Rocky,

From which country did u apply ? If CIC charged ur payment, u shld get PER with in 15 to 20 days. some applicants got per with in a week. Need to wait for 1 more week and see.

Update when u get ur PER.

My dd was of ICICI and I visited icici bank forex branch with dd number. They asked all information about dd and my account which is already with ICICI.
Icici bank has collebration with Canadia agency/bank who is looking icici Canadian affairs. ICICI bank first confirmed from agency and forwarded the same information to you.

Hello Friends,

I am 13th November 2014 DD Applicant. NOC-2232.

Update from my side.
My ECAS came LIVE this morning.

Its showing " IN Process " and on clicking it " We received you application on 13- November-2014 ".

I know its Good News though the bank has not confirmed yet that the DD is encashed.
I will inquire tomorrow as Today is Bank Holiday.
