NOC 2174/2173 - Please advice

Hi, I came to know applying for 2174 now is not worth as CAP might have already reached. If so

1) Can I apply for 2173 and keep the NOC in Economic classes as 2173 as well as my work experience as 2173 ?

2) Wait till next year and apply for 2174 ?

Please suggest as I am really confused now.

Even I'm planning to apply for 2173 but since my IELTS is registered on 1st of Nov I can apply only after Nov 15th

I'm really not sure whether cap will be filled at that time. But in CIC website I can clearly see that only 343 applicants are filled up as of now

November is way too late. Yes - the cap will be filled by then. You're misunderstanding the information posted on the CIC web site.

The 343 applications on the CIC web site is the number of applications CIC has actually opened and accepted for further processing. Right now CIC is still working on applications received the first week of June. So if the number of applications accepted is already 343 by the first week of June, this NOC will cap well before your application is received.

even i have all my documents ready for 2173 but i hesitated to submit last week because I see that they are still processing the 1st week of june application and it has reached 343 already. Imagine that's just a month after they opened the FSW 2014. Going by numbers, maybe the cap will be filled until 1st week August applicants.

I will just wait for EE.

you never know if you have all the documents in place, why don't you send it ?
