NOC 2173 or 2174?? for FSW IT Professionals

Hi Manchandapulkit,

Did u change your noc. I was also looking for someone who did this after receiving PT and before AOR. I am confused with 2173 being regulated profession and hence want to change to 2174 .please share your experience after change. It helps others who are in same situation

I have changed it to 2174 at cic and job bank portal. and now i am sending my application to OOPNP.

i have self declared my duties since my employer denied with any such infirmation on reference letter.
Now do i have to mention these duties on my resume?? as oopnp has asked for resume..

True. Overall nominations via EE are capped at 2700 but there is no NOC cap.

True. But Ontario has been issuing AOR s continuously and the file numbers have crossed 2700. This is because not everyone who gets an AOR will be nominated. Some might withdraw their application. Some might reject the nomination. Some might be rejected and some applications might be returned because they were not complete. So, Ontario is issuing AOR s beyond the limit but they will be able to nominate only 2700 people this year!!
