You can apply through EE at any time.
But Is there any specific reason that your application got return.

My Noc is also 2172 app recd date is 31st dec.

bother about the CAP.

i am dec 10th applicant...noc 2172... yesterday call center and got my UCI number...so does that mean i am safe and should wait for PER ?
Also the UCI status is not showing as of now in the portal

i had send my application on 12/17/2014 and received on 12/19/2014 under NOC 2172.
have not received AOR, fee not en cashed yet and no other update relating my application.
i wanted to know till what date can i expect any information from CIC ? be it, fee charged, AOR, PER etc.....

I am not an expert, but I don't really see the point. Your CC has been charged so you made it in the cap. You are basically on your way to Canada, unless something is seriously wrong on your application.

Yes, I have checked it and nothing is their; thank you for the concern. I am just wondering what is happening because it's one month now since my cc was charged on 23 January 2015. Based on my information it will take 2 to 3 weeks from CC to PER; and its more than 3 weeks now. I am really hoping for PER to arrive this week.

Dear gentle brothers-in-immigration for December 2014 NOC 2172 (ladies are not included, obviously ), Just had a conversation with CIC agents. I had filed an application that had reached CIC Nova Scotia on 29th Dec 2014. My NOC is 2172, derp. He told me that my application was opened very recently and is under review. Further he told me that I will get an acknowledgement by 9th March (Sangatsu kokonoka FTW!). I was also given UIC or UCI or whatever it is called. It is yet not live on ECAS, just checked. I used DD for payment so I guess it may take a bit longer, if it makes into cap, especially in the really bad weather these day in Nova Scotia. I believe, atleast till now the cap is not reached as her system was showing that the application is under review. Hope and Wait and mean while make lots of lady-friends ;D ;D ;D ;D to pass the time.

Hi Forumites,

Just an update from my side for 2172 Application Fillled on 15 Dec 2014.

Just now I called CIC seeking the UCI number( I told that I need the UCI number for my express entry profile), the agent told me that they are not allowed to share the UCI number and asked me If he can help me in any other manner. Then i asked for status of my application, the agent asked me few questions to verify my identity and then told that
He can see that there is an application filed by me on 12 Jan under express entry program, but nothing further.

He tried again and then confirmed that they have received my file for NOC 2172( I hadn't shared the NOC till this conversation with him) on 12th Dec( though DHL confirmed the delivery on 15th Dec 2014 at my end). He advised me to reach out to central intake office.

He told me that he will be sharing the contact details via an email to my email id(which again he confirmed from the system)

To summarize, 2172 applications have been opened till 12 Dec(date of my application confirmed by CIC agent, and 15 Dec by DHL) which means 2172 is not capped for sure till 12/15 Dec.

2172 Guys, do call CIC and share what you hear,...
