NOC 2171 Job Title and Duties

Hello people!

I'm a little confused regarding the NOC 2171 (Information Systems Analysts and Consultants). If I see the job titles included under this NOC, there is a title of Software Quality Assurance Auditor. This is the title for which I hold working experience. But the main description of the umbrella (Information Systems Analysts and Consultants) is something like this

"Information systems analysts and consultants analyze systems requirements, develop and implement information systems development plans, policies and procedures, and provide advice on a wide range of information systems issues. They are employed in information technology consulting firms and in information technology units throughout the private and public sectors, or they may be self-employed."

I understand it up to an extent but am still confused if this is the correct NOC for me. When I viewed the job duties for NOC 1122, it matched with my duties as well, but the NOC is predominantly for business management. So if I go by the description/duties depending on the main title, 1122 seems a bit better fit. But if I consider the job title listed under the NOC, 2171 looks like a perfect match for SQA Auditor.

Thanks for the reply. But my job duties would match the most with those of a Software Quality Assurance Auditor (which is what I do), and this is a job title under the NOC 2171. While my job duties also match with those of NOC 1122 up to a certain extent, but since it is an NOC for business management, the duties happen to be in a different context. Hence, the confusion.
