My position is Jr. System Analyst and I plan to apply under NOC 2171. Can anyone please verify if my job duties look okay?
- Analyze HP Nonstop mainframe system and processes and jobs running on the system to discover its ongoing requirements;
- Develop Systems Operations documents to be used for system audit purposes and by the team working on financial services
- Prepare and maintain detailed system level diagrams based on analysis of all associated systems, databases and servers in both production and DR environments.
- Identify possible Disaster recovery scenarios in both ATM & POS transaction processing and determining and documenting necessary actions in such scenarios
- Developed and implemented procedures and policies on providing support to the production systems to ensure minimum service disruptions
- Monitor existing production systems ensuring smooth transaction processing and perform root cause analysis in case of any incidents or failures
- Analyze and recommend strategies and solutions to ensure least number of incidents or failures in production systems
- Review business requirement documents for any changes to be implemented on HP NonStop or associated systems to identify any potential risks or failures
- Develop and implement baseline testing procedures to maximize efficiency of quality assurance of any changes implemented in Direct Connect transaction processing environments.
