NOC 2171 - Application status and CAP update

PER = Positive eligibility review
This will be updated to applicant after CC charge between 10 to 40 days. Mode of intimation is Email.
AOR = Ack of Receipt
This is the status of your application in CIC official site after successfull PER status.

Regarding you application, currently 2171 is being charged heavily and next update will give a clear picture.

And my personal view is 2171 will be capped by October atleast mid October. (sorry for application if already posted). Else avoid 2171 now and choose other NOC instead.

My application has been delivered on 7 Nov 2014. I have applied for 2171 NOC. currently cap showing 553.

What are the chances? Is max cap is 1000 so I guess still there are hopes??? ::)

Cap updated as on August 29th 2014.

Total received toward the overall cap: 9,242 of 25,000

2171 Information systems analysts and consultants 1000

This cap update is almost after a month they processed around 447 applications from last update (on July 21st) in 2171 NOC code.

As mentioned in my last post "Next update can be expected after a week or even month, I guess most of the applications of NOC 2171 from Aug will be closed" 2171 is capped by end of Aug applicants.

Any idea about 3012 noc....until which month is the recent update. ..and what may b the fate of early oct apps..?

I have applied to 2171 through a consultant. The app reached CIC on Aug 13th. Til now I haven't heard anything. The CC hasn't been charged and I haven't gotten the PER. Do you think I am still in? My consultant hasn't received the app back and he's located in Canada.

My package was also reached to CIC on Aug 13th. two weeks back they charged by CC but don't have any updates after that.

Hi Farnan,

I don't know If this is a mistake by CIC but they updated the site below which says this NOC has been capped and they were just working with August Application until last week.

My packet was delivered to CIC address under 2171 code on 26th September 2014 and signed by Scarcia La Prova Di Consegna.

But there has been no activity on my CC either.

Can someone please help me with latest update in regards to a situation of Cap full ? Do I have any chance now.. like my cc will get charged in next few weeks ?

I am about to submit my documents tomorrow for NOC 2171. It seems that an angel whispered on my ear to login to this forum and read updates.
I was really surprised that this NOC had reached 1000 as of Nov 22. :(

I feel to disappointed but I'm looking forward to Express Entry 2015
