NOC 2171 - Application status and CAP update

Hello Guys,

So would this be the right time to send the PR application or would you guys suggest wait for the new system?

I know there is a link, but how can we know the cap that's mentioned as per the date? i.e Jun 05?

It is based on your NOC code, looking at current trends if your applying for NOC 2171 than there is least chance to get picked in CAP.

In case going with Express entry there is already a defined application process published in CIC website, please refer and plan accordingly.

NOC Code: 1112 - Financial and investment analysts - 702

NOC Code: 2171 - Information systems analysts and consultants - 311

As per the last count of 2171 is 275 and now this week counts is 311. they process 36 applications in 2171 NOC so far in this week.

is this count accurate?.. or is it just an estimate?.. I understand the it might too late for me to apply in this NOC this october. However, can anyone tell what would be my chances are getting into the cap?.. TIA

This week they processed some 6 no of applications less than last week; i.e 36 applications in 2171 NOC code. ???

If you taking about NOC 2071 , then according to SS the code would be capped on 10/10/2014 by realistic opinion.

By pessimist opinion by 9/25/2014

I think if you apply right now , there is 5 % chance at most.

better think about changing NOC

Yep this is accurate as per CIC website.

P.S.: Application that are in queue and application that are never open in CIC Office are not counted toward the CIC Published Counts.

Now 2174 NOC Code is capped with 1000 applications, looks like the momentum of CIC has picked up.
 
My application for NOC-2171 was received on 10-10-2014.. Maybe one of the last applicant to get through the door... Hopefully.... :D Keeping my fingers crossed..
