NOC 2171 - Application status and CAP update

This year we have 2171 NOC for "Information systems analysts and consultants". I hope this is one of the hot NOC's. Experts can you please give some assumption or expectation on this NOC CAP completion dates.

I'm also applying on this particular NOC. Hoping for Good, fingers crossed.

I think you want the NOC not to be hot so there are still some quota left before you apply.

As per my analysis this NOC 2171 will last till end of August 2014. Because this noc is not listed in FSW 2013, so there wont be waiting applicants to utilise the cap in FSW 2014

Applications are not carried over to next year. Everyone has to reapply.

IT guys keep checking the allowed occupations each year more then any other NOC, so don't delay. Send your application as soon as you can.

250 in June,
200 in July,
200 - 150 in Aug
and rest in Sep

Dont wait till October apply asap.

Hello every one,
I have sent my application last week. But now i am confused as i have applied under NOC2173. I have 4 years of job experience as Software quality assurance engineer. Mostly i was involved in software testing. So was it the right decision to apply under 2173 or i should have applied under 2171....
