CIO has new update.
I think this is good news for those whose CC/DD were already charged. Atleast they know now that there are many pending applications awaiting for PER.

On the contrary, this is bad news for others without CC/DD charges, only few seats remaining though.

the 207 pending applications include Completeness Check + charge AND Only Completeness Check + waiting for charge.

Anyone can tell what type of job we could expect over there ....

Can we have jobs related to automobile or any sort of subsidiary work ....
I mean CAD. CAD CMM jobs ..... Anybody knows please infirm urgently

Application received date: 23 September

DD en-cashed date as per PER: 4 December

DD status as per bank: Not en-cashed yet

PER: 15 December

But my consultant forwarded me PER mail today...

I have question regarding the job description check done by CIC for NOC-2132 (Mechanical engineers) before giving PER. As Mechanical engineering is very diverse field and mechanical engineer can perform multiple jobs in different related fields ( list of engineers under Mechanical engineering is also mentioned by CIC), So do they want job description to be matching with all what they defined or they will compare the job duties as per the job or field in which person is currently working? Say Fluid mechanics engineer

sir read LEAD STATEMENT of NOC 2132.u will get a fair idea what they want.

ur job duties must be such that they prove u a mechanical engineer.

try to cover 50-60 percent of duties but in ur words, not copy pate...

actually this info would help us calculate the time which CIC takes to perform completeness check. this is very important to be calculated for Oct, Nov & Dec applicants.

The application was received on 17 June 2014. I received my application back in Malaysia on 01 Oct 2014. I don't have the envelope with me anymore and cannot check when it was postmarked in Canada. I would guess it took them close to 3 months.

I was wondering after i visited my bank to check whether my DD was encashed or not -it was not still claimed by CIC.
My application was received by CIC on OCT 17 2014, NOC 2132.
can any one help me are there any other options to know reg my status or i still have to wait..?
any friends of the same dates like me received any update from CIC or get to know reg the DD ?
