Yes - the FSW program is currently closed to applicants without job offer in Canada.

If you plan to apply in the new year, you should spend some time reading through the following thread;

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/new-fsw-points-criteria-announced-new-federal-skilled-trades-class-fstc-t115576.0.html

The rules are going to be changing next year and reading through this information will help you to determine if you will qualify.

Thank you so much

The thread was very informative... Do you know how to obtain a job offer in conservation, wildlife or biology in geeral.. my former employer wrote that my job was wildlife biologist, but I have some professional experience as ornithologist (bird researcher)

Also although I think that my points are above 67 but the point on language skills of my spouse of interest.. she just got her Masters from a British University in software development, shall she need to do the General IELTS tests as well?

If my points are above 67 do I still need to enroll her in IELTS test?

Thanks for commenting
