I have a confusion on filling Schedule 3 Economic Classes Federal Skilled Workers form- 12a and 12b. Actually my experience falls under 1123 - Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations.

I am currently working as a Manager in Corporate Communications with 4 years of experience.

What should I fill in the field "Occupation" mentioned in 12a and 12b. Please advice.

As long as your duties match the NOC 2011, 1123 you can fill in your current designation. Your reference letters will be in that designation - so no worries on that. You will need your letters of service to match the NOC. Thats all that really matters, as far as I have gotten to know at this forum.

Following are my job responsibilities which I will list down in the job experience letter. Can anyone advise if these duties matches with the job responsibilities defined for NOC 1123?

• Ensure optimum implementation of research and insights, techniques and procedures in Groupm and its clients.
• Preparation & communication of media strategy to buying and planning teams based on industry performance, past trends, competitive campaigns and consumer researches
• Played an integral role in the launch of 3D, a proprietary multimedia research study for the first time in country
• Conducted multiple researches, including a customized media touch points research for a Telecom service provider and media/brand usage study for Double A
• Entire projects management from project scoping to final presentation. Develop research questionnaires, supervise fieldwork, analyze and interpret the data, develop presentations and make recommendations on findings
• Design and Develop media newsletter on monthly basis to share the recent media trends, event based analysis and highlight the upcoming opportunities for clients
• Supervising client’s media audits at agency level with audit agencies like Accenture and PWC
• Setting the vision for the team; developing and delivering the work plan for the client

Just a quick update, got PER today 10/22. Good luck you guys.

I wanted to mention I was a bit nervous about it because people were saying your duties have to match like 70% to 80%, but that was not the case with mine, I matched like 3 or 4 bullet points they had because the 1123 NOC code covers marketing, advertising and PR, so it's kind of improbable that a single person does all that. But anyway I did end up getting the PER, so leaving this information for future applicants.

I also have similar concern with regards to the duties listed for NOC1123. I also covered few points, ofcourse not like 70% of the duties. Will it be possible for you to share your title on reference letter and jobs responsibilities written on your reference letter. My application is all set ready to be sent by next week (hopefully this NOC doesnt reach to 1000-CAP by then) however I would like to make sure that my reference letter is correctly worded as per the requirement of this NOC.

Hi, Given that I also work in the customer insight field I found that the closest NOC to me is 1123. However in order to be accepted your reference letter need to be very close to that of the NOC on the HRSDC website. I did this and looked for each and every duty that is close to explaining what I did in my job and then tweeted it little bit and added it to my reference letter. I think you need to do the same. Don't just write your current duties, but carefully adapt them to the ones in the NOC

Farhan brother - PER mail should arrive around 11/5 - 11/12 by my analysis. Then file will be transferred to local visa office. MR usually in 45 days of file transfer, then PPR, COPR, VISA. my estimate (earliest/ minimum) of time is, InshaAllah by June/July, we should both be in Canada.

Some analysis on SS, 0.7% people claim that they got package back after charging / NER (pink highlighted rows 11/1538 people who got charged).

I HOPE WE ARE PART OF THE 99.93% that got PER after getting charged.
