@ Muqdad, its best if you check if your job functions (last 10 years) matches best with the description of 1122 or 7251.

Hi.

There are only 2 ways you can find out if the NOC limit for 1122 is full:
1) CIC advertise this on their web site
2) Some else who applied under NOC 1122 reports their application has been returned because the NOC limit is reached.

Currently neither of these have happened, although 1122 seems one of the most popular NOCs under which FSW1 are applying, so this limit could be reached very soon.

My advice is to continue to plan to apply. If the limit has not been announced by the time you get your IELTS results then apply. Owing to the popularity of NOC 1122, is there any way you can take the IELTS test any earlier? Even if it means more travelling to do the test if you can take it a few weeks earlier it will increase your chances.

But also please remember that CIC will accept IELTS results which are up to 1 year old. Therefore if you do miss the limit this year, you can still take your IELTS test in November and apply for FSW1 once again next year (1st July 2011) using those results. This of course is on the condition that NOC code 1122 is not removed from the in-demand list, however the previous list was there for around 2 years so there's a strong chance that the current 29 list won't be reviewed in July (no guarantees of course).

Erm, hope this helps, best of luck! :)
Wayne.

Dear Wayne,

Thanks for sharing information. I am living in Germany since last 7 years and want to apply under Skilled Worker Catagory. I will write the IELTS on 20th Nov and will submit my application in first week of Dec. Do you know where can I see if the NOC catagory is full or not? Did you ever see such news? I guess, we are now in the 4th month of the new batch and if CIC would select only 1000 applications and as NOC 1122 is very polular, it would have been already closed for new applicant...if you look the amount of people around the globe applying under 1122..

Looks like NOC 1122 is the most popular... and its going to fill up soon. :(

Hi

I have collected all my documents and they are being quality reviewed by my attorneys. By all probabilities my application should be submitted by 27th of Oct 2010. Though there is no official information about the quota is over, still my attorneys are not very positive about the chances. This is a very nervous time for me in my life as I spent more than 3 months and lots of money to reach this stage and if for the quote reasons i fail this year then its going to be very hard for me.

For all those who are trying to apply this year, i suggest you try to do it in next 2 weeks for NOC 1122.

All the best for everyone, including me.

MS :)

hi ella, no i don't have a consultant, do you have one? I tried checking with a company based in Deira but they were charging too much! so i figure i will just apply on my own (fingers crossed that i can still make it early 2011).
