Hi Experts,

I am new to this forum. I posted my completed application (with IELTS Scores) in NOC 1122 on 23rd Oct which was received by CIO on 30th Oct 2010 but I haven't received any update till date (Not even File no).

Has any one from India applied in 1122 category with CIO received date of 30th Oct onwards and has received File No. If yes, please could you update with your present application status.

Please add my details as below

Well, i'm not an expert, but you're not the only one who's waiting for a PER. Throw an email at "FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca" with your Full Name, date of birth, country of residence. An auto email will be thrown back, but they'll answer your query in due time.

Here is the final update on my application for the benefit of others. My application was Received by CIO on 28-Oct-2010 under NOC 1122

Application is returned citing "Cap Reached" as reason

Thats disappointing. In one post you said you didn't receive any correspondence from CIO, in the very next you're saying that you've been rejected as the 1122 cap has been reached .

Well, better luck next time of course, and good luck to the rest of us.

The time is approaching soon for many of us to try our luck this year. The cap opens again on June 26th right? or can we apply earlier?
Also, has anything else changed since last year with respect to initial application?

Also, to refresh our memories can an expert member help us NOC 1122 applicants give us a quick summary of what all docs need to be sent with the initial application and where should these be sent to? I'm not hiring an attorney, and I was really up-to-date with the whole process till last year, but have lost track of it now, and would appreciate your help.

Cap for 1122 has been reached already for this year... prepare your docs now so you will be among the first applicants to forward their applications to CIO-Nova Scotia come June 30 as our NOC reaches cap the earliest. All applications have the same requirements. Here is their checklist

Well, nothing yet. Still waiting ... hope it turns out good .

I do hope that not just 1122 reopens, but the policy may be relaxed a bit if the newly elected government wishes to ... .
