Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello, everyone!

I need your advice on which NOC code 1111/1311 I should choose.

I worked for 1,5 years for an accounting firm (big 4), started as intern promoted to advanced staff, but still junior level. I have a master's degree but it has nothing to do with accounting. As far as I understand to claim NOC 1111 I need a specific higher education, a degree in accounting, right? As well as to be an accountant on a senior level? So is it better for me to claim NOC 1311?

Job duties in the reference letter match both 1311 and 1111, since my main duty was to analyze financial statements and prepare income tax returns.

I'm applying as FSW outland.

Your response will be much appreciated!

NoC is clearly linked with your work experience. For example, I am also in finance n accounting n in last 10+ years i have touched n gained experience in almost every sub-finance fields. Therefore i m using code 0111 because that summarizes everything.

Pls go thru official description issued by CiC for each NoC code. That will give you a decent idea about the closest one with your actual experience. Use that.
