Hello dear managersonline,
Then why would CIC post 931(554+377) total applications on December 16 and stating that there is no guarantee if application sent today (as of 16 Dec) will fall in the cap? I would agree with you if cic update looked like this 931 applications counted toward the cap. It would have meant there had been much more pending ones so the NOC had been definately capped by the time people received last PERs. No PER no CAP count.
What do you think?

I guess, the basis for his statement is that Charging for this NOC stopped in OCT beginning, while other NOCs charging has reached Nov/Dec.

We need facts, not guesses and assumptions. Until somebody gets rejection due to cap quota, everyone is still in the game. But of course the applicants should not hold their hopes high as obviously something is going on.

Since I am a Dec 29th applicant I should be more worried than any of you.. but I guess.. we don't have anything to do but to wait.. hope for the best and be prepared for the worst.. God bless guys.

I read on what'sup group November Applicants

someone NOC 1123 said that he called CIC and try to get UCI and capping information, agent said that we don't have any data in our record about your application, further, agent also said that it seems your package might not opened yet........

The guy application date was 13 or 14 november i did'nt remember exactly but on 16 DEC Cic published cap status of noc 1123 round 430 etc.

These statements from what'sup discussions from different groups are increasing stress.

I've checked a Chinese forum (yiminjiayuan.com)...

A November 20 NOC 1111 applicant got these results:

1. GCMS NOTES - the system did not reveal his file.

2. Called CIO/CIC over the phone - no information was available per agent. The agent advised to wait for any snail mail letter from CIC instead.

Hope we will have a clear picture within a few days
