Hello Everyone,

Please post here your timelines so we can keep everybody posted about the progress of our PR applications.
I have plans of sending my documents to CIO-NS when my WES evaluation arrives and that will be available in the mail probably this week.
Just in time to check/update if there will still be changes in the CIC forms.

We have a total of 2,000 cap for these two hot NOCs, hope we can make it.
Lets help each other.

Godbless us all.

Hi,

Thank you dustincarlisle for the thread.
What NOC will you apply for?
Will submit mine next week to make sure there's no changes in the forms. ;D
I hope our NOC isnt that hot as last year.

hi i am planning 2 applu in 0111 but having serious prob in ECA frm WES have u gotten ur ECA

Hi, I assume, that it will be better to include Financial managers (0111) and Other financial officers (1114) also.

I am going to apply under 0111 on 5th May

hello all,

i want to apply in FSW2014 in noc 0111 financial managers. my problem is that . I applied to WES for assessment of my CMA(cost and managemnet accountancy) degree which is done after bachelors; I did not send them my bachelor's dox. They sent me the following evaluation:

CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMERY
2 years of professional study

however, i came across this on cic site:

important information. Before you apply, refer to the table in Appendix C to confirm that the outcome stated on your ECA report matches one of the assessment outcomes identified in the table.

The following fictional examples will help you determine what you must submit with your application to the CIO in order to receive maximum points for your education:

If Fatima studied outside of Canada and obtained a foreign educational credential at the Bachelor's level, but her ECA report indicates that the foreign credential is only equivalent to two years of post-secondary study in Canada...
Then she would not meet the minimum education requirement and her application would be refused because her foreign educational credential was found not to be equivalent to a completed Canadian educational credential.

appendix C http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/ECA_table_EN.pdf

none of the given assessment outcomes matches mine Huh

does that mean i cant apply?Huh? plz reply anyone time is running out

You should send all your post secondary credentials for assessment, as there is no any additional charge for evaluation of extra credentials. I sent my University degree as well my acca certificate along with the transcripts and WES evaluated university degree equivalent to Master's degree and ACCA equivalent to 3 years bachelor's degree in accounting and the evaluation consists of 2 pages.

hello everyone,

I have actually prof work experience in NOC 1111 (more than 1 year), 1112 (more than 1 year) and 2171 (more than 2 years), so I am thinking what NOC should I be applying for. If I am to pick NOC 1112 (most recent), they will just award me 9 points rights? Since all my experiences are in NOC A, can CIC count the rest of my work experiences of more than 5 years for a total of 13 points?

I have gotten my ECA just yesterday and it is 3 year diploma equivalent in Canada, so I assume its 21 points.
My English Test is CELPIP and have enough 20 points.

I hope we can all make it.

NO, only in the NOC you apply. It does not matter, if its current experience or 1 - 2 years old. Most imp is to comfortably cross the threshold as they sometimes manage to deduct points from here or there. You may consider, IELTS for your spouse if you are short of score.

A two year post-secondary degree program is awarded 19 points.
