but don't you think these numbers are indicators? I mean 56 or 92 would mean it's pretty far from the cap limit even if the backlog is pretty high

CIC only publishes numbers for those who have been sent PER. Number of those who have SUBMITTED applications is by far greater but still unknown. But it's good to have a positive outlook and apply anyway, all the best.

In other words, after 6 weeks from the beginning of 2014 FSWP the number of accepted apps for processing is 56...which means less than 10 apps per week.
If I'm doing the math right, then by the beginning of November the number will reach 300.
What do you guys think? Am I right or what?

I'm planning to submit my application in mid November for NOC 1111 or 0111, hasn't decided yet.
What do you think my chances are? Rt now noc 1111 is 56 on cic website and 92 on global spreadsheet.

You're not doing the math right. It is only 2 weeks as FSW14 opened on May 1, 2014.

Also we cannot assume the rate of applications is constant.

Im worried that noc1111 will reach its cap. My IELTS schedule is on oct 2. Keeping my fingers crossed that I'd still be included in the cap. Do you think I need to schedule it at an earlier date?

Hello Everyone,

Please post here your timelines so we can keep everybody posted about the progress of our PR applications.
I have plans of sending my documents to CIO-NS when my WES evaluation arrives and that will be available in the mail probably this week.
Just in time to check/update if there will still be changes in the CIC forms.

We have a total of 2,000 cap for these two hot NOCs, hope we can make it.
Lets help each other.

Reason for delay is I got my IELTS date schedule on 2nd Nov'14 which would give me result after dayes which 12th or 13th.

So calculating this I would able to apply with IELTS by 14th or 15th Nov;14 ,?

Anyone predict I am doing wise applying in Nov'14 ...still I get any chance if I apply in Nov'14

You are only required to perform the roles, you are not expected to be the chief or any such designation. If your roles fit what is stated for the NOC, you can apply. Senior position holders may consider 0111 which is for Financial managers.

I am not discouraging but u might be late since 1112 is catching up quite fast. nevertheless its worth taking chance. go ahead.

Guys I checked the dd and it wasnt cashed yet. Also I sent enquiry since a month ago and thwre is no reply. I swnt my application on the 9th of may noc 1112.

Could someone help on how to check the status or if they'll reject/return the complete application if they open the application after DD expires?

Hi, CIC is working on the applications received around your date at this time so you might just scale through. You are right that if the DD is expired by the time they open your application, it will be returned. We were expressly requested to provide DD that is valid for 5 months.
Even I didn't get notification (PER) on my May 12th application till September 2nd. So don't be overly worried, just keep your head up and stay hopeful. As earlier stated, it might ail through. The sky is big enough for all birds to fly
