Hi
I am external audit in one of the audit firms.
I am ACCA. I passed in August 2013 and after 3 years experience in the firm I became member in 2016.
My question is that will my 3 years experience be counted towards my immigration or not as it is before becoming member of the body. because NOC 1111 states that 30 month training is required. Plus CIC also mentiones a line "Do not enter any work experience gained during the apprenticeship process" while filling out the application.
NOC 1111 description:
Chartered accountants require a university degree
and
Completion of a professional training program approved by a provincial institute of chartered accountants and, depending on the province, either two years or 30 months of on-the-job training
and
Membership in a provincial Institute of Chartered Accountants upon successful completion of the Uniform Evaluation (UFE).
