Hi,

This forum is to discuss:

1) Job availability for NOC 0631 Restaurant & Food Service Managers.

2) Salary Scales (nevermind what the CIC site says).

3) Invite stories of all that have migrated there already.

Thanks

Odin2404 where do you plan to settle?

You do not say where in Particular you are looking for that information., but I chose Toronto for you...

Employment prospects for restaurant and food services managers are expected to be average for the Toronto region. This occupation is largely dependent on the economy and can be subject to layoffs and slow periods. It is also influenced by the outlook for the tourism and hospitality sector. Opportunities will be greatest for those with prior experience. Graduates of training and education programs may have better opportunities of finding employment. However, experience is generally more important than education in this field. As the population ages there will be a growing demand for food service managers in residential care facilities and supportive care services.

$/hr in 2009: Low $11.95 Avg $15.25 High $21.45
