can we attribute the delay that the london applicants are facing currently to this decision? any one knows if this piece of info is true? looks like this applies to london vo only. pl share your thoughts.

Mate,

If we paid heed to Nectar's advise we'd all stop applying. He continuously forecasts' or announces breaking news without confirming his source or any link to the same.

Chill, pinch of salt. What might just work for him with his latest forecast his that, London VO is traditionally slow. So, while your application might be delayed, it has nothing to do with his "inside" news or his timeframes.

Cheers,
Rahul.

In fact, in addtion to my last post, here's a letter that's been doing the rounds when a VO receives a case specific enquiry from a pre June 2010 applicant.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.
Since you applied as a Federal Skilled Worker on or after February 27, 2008 and before June 26, 2010 , your application will take two years or more to be processed. This is due to the fact that Canada received over 425,000 applications under this program during this period. However, If you wish to withdraw your application, you may be eligible for a refund of your processing fees.
* Unfortunately, it will take longer to process federal skilled worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected.
* During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.
* This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the federal skilled worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed.

We trust that this information will be of assistance

And here's the link to where I read this letter on this forum. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/pakistan-application-forum-t19839.24150.html

Hey Thalia!!!! Thanks a lot for useful info. Now I know why we never got reply ;-)) Read this: At the time of the last audit the performance of the mission was still affected by the aftermath of the 2005 tsunami. According to the last numbers available the mission in Colombo is still one of the slowest in the Asia / Pacific area but slowly improving. WOW!!!! I hope they will improve faster and sooner ;-)))

Two good links if you want to live in Ottawa. And if looking for a vehicle. 8)

That's not even 3 months, so no need to worry.
PCCs are only for places where you stayed "for 6 consecutive months or longer"

Post 26/6 applicant and in same NOC 0631.
