Hello everyone,

I'm applying for express entry FSW PR for Canada under NOC 0601, corporate sales manager. Has anyone got PR for this NOC? What is the job market like. I am having more than 10 years of experience in this noc and wanted to know if the survival/main stream job market scenario is favorable for this noc.

The reason why I ask this as on jobbing Canada, Corporate sales manager jobs are mainly restaurant managers. What is expected remuneration for starting jobs after landing in this field. My expertise is in international business and Operations. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Lastly, Should I be more focused on operations jobs as Canadian job portals have almost no jobs for international business?

Thanks.

PS: I posted this query in another topic "express entry / expression of interest" forum but realised it is better to have a new topic in job specific forum of this site.

People who already landed in canada, request you all to please help in getting some clarity in this. Thanks.

Request Senior members to please help with their opinions. You don't need to be in same profession. Your any insights will help. :)

Bumping up the thread....

If you have good communication skills basically any entry level sales job would be attainable and you can go from there. Don't take job bank too seriously by the way. I don't think it accurately reflects the job market situation.

I have IELTS Overall score 8 with minimum clb 9 in each. More that 16 years of experience including 8 years of noc 0601 Corporate sales manager. Applied to several jobs but none reverted. Stuck at 424 CRS score due to age. Rest is covered to almost fullest point wise. OINP is eligible but not getting nomination. Don't know what to do now. Hopefully, with my continued efforts on job applications, will get a job with positive lmia. Best luck to all and thanks for your inputs.

It's not about test scores but rather how well you actually communicate (including accent - for customer centric jobs). It takes about 6 months to actually land a job when IN Canada. If you don't have a network or any previous exposure to Canada I don't think you'll have success from out of the country (not to mention sponsorship). As you pointed out the best way out in your case is probably provincial nomination. Then you'll come to Canada, build a network and figure it out. Good luck :)

You should assume it will not be possible to get a job offer before PR. You will need to qualify and be selected for PR without having a job offer.

Hi Scylla, Thank you .... how about the nomination waiting time, how long generally it takes to get nominated by any province... an approximate (over PNP stream)

I work as a senior sales person (2008 - 2012 - business development manager ) (2012 - 2018 - regional sales head) (2018 - 2020 - Senior Global Sales Manager) Should we need to use different NOC respectively ?? while submitting my profile. Or we should choose the best suitable ?

Please advice
